Assistant/Junior Buyer – Fast‑Growing Product‑Led Business

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant/Junior Buyer to join a fast‑growing, product‑led business in Redhill. You will work closely with the buying team to bring new products from concept to retail shelves, collaborating with suppliers across the Far East and internal departments such as design, sales and logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the product journey from initial concept through to delivery.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with Far East suppliers.
• Raise purchase orders, monitor critical paths and ensure timely sea‑freight and customs clearance.
• Review product samples, coordinate testing and inspections.
• Provide accurate, compliant product information for retail launch.
• Collaborate with sales, design and logistics teams to keep multiple projects on track.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Assistant or Junior Buyer.
• Proven experience working with Far East suppliers and international shipping.
• Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and proactive attitude.
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle.
