Associate Adviser – Financial Planning

About the role

This position is designed for a technical paraplanner or an IFA looking to transition into a full financial adviser role. You will work closely with the Managing Director of a financial planning firm, gradually taking ownership of a high‑net‑worth client book while supporting paraplanning activities.

Key responsibilities

• Write technical suitability reports and conduct product research.
• Perform cash‑flow modelling for client portfolios.
• Attend client meetings and strengthen relationships.
• Collaborate with other IFAs and the back‑office team.
• Eventually assume full responsibility for a client book, delivering holistic advice.
• Ensure strict compliance with FCA regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning, ideally Chartered.
• Extensive experience in a paraplanning role, preferably client‑facing.
• Strong desire to progress into a Financial Adviser position.
• Good knowledge of UK financial products and FCA regulatory framework.
