Associate Banker – Fintech

About the role

Barclays is looking for an Associate Banker – Fintech to support Relationship Directors in delivering tailored financial solutions. You will work across key account portfolios, develop client relationships and help drive business growth for corporate and institutional customers.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Relationship Directors with product knowledge, sales research and customer relationship development.
• Identify and pursue business development opportunities with new and existing clients.
• Research client industries, regulatory trends and competitive landscapes to inform strategic recommendations.
• Design and present customised solutions using the bank’s product suite.
• Monitor client income and portfolio performance on a month‑to‑month basis.
• Maintain excellent internal and external stakeholder management.

Required profile

• Background in corporate cash management and liquidity solutions.
• Experience with corporate banking products such as treasury, FX, lending, transaction banking, capital markets and risk solutions.
• Strong commercial mindset and ability to track financial performance.
• Effective communication and proactive problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work within regulatory frameworks (PRA & FCA).
