About the role
A leading accountancy firm in Derby is looking for an Associate Director to take ownership of a business service line. The role involves working alongside several departments to shape the business structure, build a positive work culture and create a supportive team network. It suits someone with extensive management experience who is an excellent communicator, able to guide and mentor staff of all levels and work closely with clients.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure the success of the department
- Manage relationships, acquire work and develop the team
- Support, motivate and mentor staff at all levels
- Understand client needs and provide a tailored service
- Provide day-to-day compliance and advisory support for clients, from yourself and the team
- Work collaboratively across offices to build a positive employee network
- Build and maintain client relationships
- Carry out ad-hoc tasks as required
Required profile
- ACA, ACCA or CTA qualification
- Extensive management experience
- Proven ability to work with clients to deliver a quality service
