Associate Director, Business Intelligence

About the role

This is a senior opportunity to lead the Business Intelligence function within a fast‑scaling, data‑driven organisation. You will translate data into commercial insight across multiple client projects while helping to build a mature UK‑based BI capability.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery of reporting and dashboard solutions for client engagements.
• Assess existing BI products and identify improvements for scalability, accuracy and usability.
• Design and enhance dashboards that track performance metrics such as clicks, impressions and conversions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate broader business data into reporting outputs.
• Support onboarding of new client projects and maintain consistent delivery standards.
• Contribute to templating and forecasting capabilities within the BI offering.
• Mentor junior team members and champion best practices across the function.

Required profile

• Strong commercial experience in Business Intelligence and reporting within a marketing or digital environment.
• Advanced dashboarding skills using Looker Studio (Data Studio) or Power BI.
• Proficient SQL skills with exposure to BigQuery or comparable cloud platforms.
• Experience working with marketing performance data and delivering actionable insights.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Interest in applying AI concepts to enhance reporting and analytics workflows.
• Proven experience mentoring or supporting junior talent.
