Associate Director – Construction Claims

About the role

Gallagher is seeking an experienced Associate Director to lead complex construction claims within its Claims Division in London. You will act as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through the full claims lifecycle and ensuring efficient, high‑quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage construction claims from initial notification to settlement, including negotiations with insurers.
• Provide expert advice to clients at every stage of the claims process.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, and internal teams.
• Proactively monitor claim progress, deliver timely updates, and resolve issues.
• Respond to insurer queries, manage payments, and ensure accurate documentation.
• Produce and deliver claims data and management information to stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement of claims handling processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction claims within the insurance industry.
• Deep understanding of claims processes, insurance markets, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to handle complex claims and negotiate effectively with insurers.
