Associate Director – Deal Services

About the role

Our client, a leading accounting practice, is expanding its Deal Services team and seeks an Associate Director to lead financial due diligence engagements on both buy‑side and sell‑side transactions. The role is based in Manchester and offers the opportunity to shape the delivery of high‑quality due‑diligence reports while mentoring junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Lead client engagement processes from inception to completion.
• Oversee fieldwork teams and ensure timely delivery of deliverables.
• Direct financial analysis of target businesses and produce comprehensive due‑diligence reports.
• Act as the primary liaison during deal execution, coordinating with advisors and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain industry and economic expertise to add value to client projects.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA or equivalent).
• Proven experience in Transaction Services or financial due diligence.
• Track record of producing high‑quality due‑diligence reports.
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of deal mechanics.
• Curiosity about business operations and a commitment to accuracy and integrity.
