Associate Director, IT Solutions Analyst - Private Debt Servicing

About the role

MUFG Investor Services, which provides asset servicing solutions to the global investment management industry, is hiring a Solutions Analyst for its loan administration and private debt servicing area. The role sits within Tech Solutions as a deployable analytical and subject-matter-expert resource, not permanently embedded in any one team, and covers the front-end analysis that turns emerging business needs into clearly defined work. It is a hybrid position based in London.

Key responsibilities

• Act as subject-matter expert and analytical lead for the platforms and processes behind Private Debt offerings: loan administration, loan agency and CLO.
• Cover the loan lifecycle from deal and position set-up through interest and fee calculation, drawdowns, repayments and lender allocations, shaping solutions so delivery teams reflect how loan servicing works.
• Protect the integrity of loan data flowing into downstream reporting and fund valuation, ensuring it is timely, accurate and fit for purpose.
• Conduct front-end analysis on feasibility, operating model, data quality and readiness, and collaborate with stakeholders to define and document business requirements.
• Query data, review system configuration and run analysis with AI tooling, and work with Solution Owners to shape intent and acceptance criteria.
• Represent technical limitations to business stakeholders and business intent to engineers, and flag data gaps, downstream impacts, operational readiness and regulatory issues.
• Partner with Integration Quality Engineers on cross-team test scenarios and support adoption readiness such as communications, training and data clean-up.
• Identify reuse opportunities, create and maintain product documentation including system overviews, functional narratives and use cases.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in loan administration, loan agency or private debt/private credit servicing, ideally in fund services, asset servicing or agency-lending.
• Demonstrable end-to-end understanding of the loan life cycle, from document interpretation and loan economics extraction through reporting builds and integrations, underpinned by reconciliations.
• Strong working knowledge of the syndicated and bilateral loan operating model, including interest and fee accruals, coupons, amortisation, drawdowns, repayments, PIK, unfunded commitments and pro-rata allocation.
• Substantial experience gathering, analysing and documenting business requirements and turning them into solution intent and acceptance criteria.
• Experience modelling business processes and producing artefacts such as process models, use cases, procedural guides and scenarios, and driving requirements sessions with techniques such as user story mapping and event storming.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with Sentry (Broadridge); similar platforms such as Allvue or Wall Street Office are also valued.
• Experience or exposure to API integrations, SQL, S3, Snowflake and similar technologies.
• Preferred: understanding of how loan servicing connects to fund accounting and NAV production, including exposure to a private markets accounting platform such as Investran.
• Preferred: experience using AI tools for prototypes and POCs, and experience with platform implementation, configuration or migration projects.
