Associate Director – PR & Communications (B2B)

About the role

We are seeking an Associate Director to lead PR and communications for a fast‑growing B2B agency in Bristol. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will combine strategic thinking with hands‑on execution across a portfolio of high‑profile technology and enterprise clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own integrated communications programmes that span PR, social, creative, public affairs, insight and employee engagement.
• Provide strategic counsel on reputation management, crisis planning and issue handling.
• Lead new‑business pitches, nurture client relationships and identify growth opportunities within existing accounts.
• Oversee the creation of thought‑leadership content, executive profiles, media relations, award entries and content programmes.
• Mentor and develop account managers and executives, fostering a collaborative and ambitious agency culture.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in B2B PR, technology communications or agency environments.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of winning new business and expanding client accounts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of translating complex technical topics into compelling stories.
• Confidence presenting to senior stakeholders and leading crisis simulations.
