Associate Director - Revenue

About the role

The Associate Director – Revenue will lead the transformation of revenue operations across the EME region for a leading global law firm. Reporting to senior leadership, you will shape strategy, drive automation and ensure robust billing, collections and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead revenue transformation initiatives, incorporating automation and emerging technologies to improve billing efficiency and reduce write‑offs.
• Oversee work‑in‑progress (WIP), accounts receivable and inventory management across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
• Manage daily billing and collections operations across multiple offices.
• Implement strong internal controls, best practices and regulatory compliance, including VAT requirements.
• Provide strategic guidance on pricing, client terms, revenue planning, forecasting and performance analysis.
• Build partnerships with partners, lawyers, finance leaders and global operations teams.
• Lead, mentor and develop distributed revenue teams to ensure high performance and service excellence.
• Contribute to regional and global projects such as systems enhancements and process improvements.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in revenue or finance leadership within multi‑office or multi‑jurisdiction environments.
• Proven track record of driving process improvements, system upgrades and financial controls.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills.
• Proactive, solutions‑focused approach with strong analytical capability.
• Solid people‑management experience.
• Knowledge of regional VAT regulations and compliance requirements.
