About the role
Join BWB Consulting’s Transport & Accessibility Planning team as an Associate Director Transport Planner. You will lead strategic delivery on large development projects, including Development Consent Orders (DCO) and associated examinations, while building strong client relationships across the Midlands and other UK offices.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure delivery of high‑quality project services, collaborating with management to secure approvals and repeat business.
- Act as the primary client contact for Transport & Accessibility Planning, leading large projects, DCOs, examinations and expert‑witness support.
- Develop service expertise in planning, development and infrastructure processes with a client‑focused mindset.
- Coordinate and deliver client account plans and manage client relationships as required.
- Contribute to discipline, divisional and regional meetings.
- Support growth of the Transport & Accessibility Planning team and wider advisory division.
- Lead multi‑disciplinary BWB teams both internally and externally when needed.
Required profile

- Membership of a relevant professional institution (CIHT, CILT, IHE, TPS, ICE).
