Associate Investment Manager – Leeds

About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate Investment Manager to join a leading UK wealth management business in Leeds. You will support client portfolio management, deliver exceptional service and develop towards a fully‑fledged Investment Manager within a high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Support ongoing management of client portfolios, ensuring alignment with objectives and mandates.
• Build strong relationships with clients, intermediaries and professional contacts.
• Conduct investment research and contribute to portfolio positioning and asset allocation discussions.
• Assist with suitability reviews and client reporting.
• Work closely with Financial Planners and other specialists to deliver holistic client outcomes.
• Support business development activities and strengthen professional relationships.

Required profile

• CISI Level 4 IAD, including Securities and Financial Planning & Advice papers.
• Experience in investment management, wealth management or a similar client‑facing environment.
• Exposure to portfolio reviews, suitability assessments and client reporting.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Commercial awareness and interest in developing professional relationships.
• Proactive approach and ability to work with increasing autonomy.
