Associate Personal Injury Solicitor – Glasgow

About the role

We are seeking a Scottish‑qualified Personal Injury Solicitor to join our growing accident claims practice in Glasgow. The role combines supervising a busy team with managing your own high‑value caseload, offering a blend of leadership and hands‑on litigation.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise a team of solicitors and paralegals handling accident and personal injury claims.
• Manage a personal high‑value caseload, focusing on complex RTA, EL/PL, vehicle damage and hire claims.
• Lead negotiations with insurers and opposing counsel and review court documents.
• Conduct regular file reviews and ensure compliance with Scottish civil litigation procedures and pre‑action protocols.
• Mentor junior lawyers and maintain high standards of client care and file quality.

Required profile

• Scottish‑qualified solicitor with at least 5 years post‑qualification experience.
• Proven experience in personal injury litigation, including road traffic accidents and employer‑liability/product‑liability work.
• Familiarity with Sheriff Court procedures; experience of Court of Session work is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership or a clear appetite to develop and manage a team.
• Commercially aware and comfortable working to financial targets.

• Proficiency with digital case management systems.
