Associate Post Transaction Consultant

About the role

We are partnering with a leading pensions consultancy to recruit an Associate Post Transaction Consultant for its specialist end‑game team in London. The role is project‑focused, supporting pension scheme wind‑up and post‑transaction activities while working closely with trustees, sponsors and external advisers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support pension scheme wind‑up projects from initiation to completion.
• Serve as primary contact for trustees, sponsors and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate activities across insurers, administrators and advisers.
• Assist strategic projects such as benefit settlements, funding reserves and surplus management.
• Monitor project delivery, track milestones and ensure timely execution.
• Build strong client relationships and contribute to broader business initiatives.

Required profile

• Experience working with UK pension schemes.
• Background in pensions consulting, actuarial work, administration, trustee executive or scheme management.
• Strong project management and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Professional pensions qualification (or progress towards one) is advantageous.
• Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities.
