About the role

Join Spencer Ogden as an Associate Recruitment Consultant in Glasgow. This is a sales‑focused position where you will hunt new business, negotiate deals and build lasting client relationships within the sustainability staffing market.

Key responsibilities

• Business Development – prospect, pitch and close deals with clients needing top‑tier talent.
• Candidate Sourcing – apply sales techniques to attract and place freelance professionals.
• Relationship Building – manage client accounts via phone, email and face‑to‑face meetings.
• Target‑Driven Performance – achieve daily, weekly and quarterly KPIs in a fast‑paced environment.

Required profile

• Experience in B2B/B2C sales, telesales, door‑to‑door, fundraising or account management.
• Motivated by commission and uncapped earning potential.
• Resilient, persistent and comfortable handling rejection.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to build a personal desk and progress to leadership.
