Associate Relationship Manager – Mid Markets (Midlands & East England)

About the role

We are looking for an Associate Relationship Manager to join our Mid‑Market team in Milton Keynes. You will support a growth portfolio of businesses with turnover between £50 m and £500 m across the Midlands and East England, working closely with Relationship Directors to deliver tailored banking solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Relationship Directors in originating new business and managing existing client relationships.
• Prepare client meeting agendas, briefing notes and follow‑up actions, both virtually and in‑person.
• Support the lending journey by analysing financial statements, contributing to credit proposals and monitoring risk.
• Identify high‑value opportunities and recommend appropriate products such as term loans and revolving credit facilities.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of sector trends and Lloyds’ product suite to provide insightful advice.

Required profile

• Strong interest in commercial banking and relationship management.
• Excellent analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and a customer‑first mindset.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a hybrid team.

Required skills

• Understanding of financial accounts and credit assessment.
• Experience with banking products such as term loans and revolving credit facilities.
