Associate Technical Support Engineer / IT Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a technically‑minded Associate Technical Support Engineer to join our Technical Support team. You will provide first‑class support for enterprise software, working closely with Engineering, Development and Customer Success to resolve issues and help customers maximise the value of our solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support for enterprise software applications and diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve customer issues within agreed service levels.
• Record, prioritise and manage support requests through the service management platform and escalate complex issues to Engineering or Development teams.
• Assist customers with software configuration, deployment, integration with authentication technologies (Active Directory, LDAP, SAML, Single Sign‑On) and ongoing optimisation.
• Configure dashboards, reports and data exports, and develop custom scripts to automate processes and enhance functionality.
• Maintain software configurations, licensing and device support updates while building strong customer relationships.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Networking or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication and customer‑service abilities.
• Organised, proactive and comfortable working in a fast‑paced technical environment.

Required skills

• Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Virtualisation technologies.
• Networking concepts, routers, switches and network infrastructure.
• Authentication integrations: Active Directory, LDAP, SAML, Single Sign‑On.
• Scripting or automation experience.
• Knowledge of VMware or other enterprise virtualisation platforms.
• Familiarity with network monitoring or infrastructure management tools.
• Industry certifications such as CCNA (advantageous).
