Associate Therapist – Fostering (Home‑based)

About the role
We are seeking a motivated therapist or therapy‑trained social worker to provide high‑quality therapeutic support for foster parents and looked‑after children across the South East region. The role is home‑based and focuses on creating a therapeutic environment for children in care.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver consultation sessions to foster parents facing specific challenges.
- Collaborate with team members, local authorities, social workers and schools on placement issues.
- Run group sessions and workshops for new foster parents during their first year.
- Facilitate staff workshops to promote reflective therapeutic practice.
Required profile
- Qualified and accredited by BACP, BPS, HCPC, UKCP or PTUK.
- Experience in fostering services or a similar setting is desirable.
- Strong administration skills and ability to follow regulatory policies.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced team.
