About the role

We are seeking an Audit & Accounts Semi Senior to join our growing accountancy and advisory practice in Blackburn. This role offers the chance to work on a varied client portfolio while developing technical expertise and progressing towards a professional qualification.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with statutory audits for a diverse range of clients.
• Support charity independent examinations and specialist compliance assignments.
• Prepare year‑end accounts for various businesses.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients.
• Collaborate with audit, accounts and tax teams on engagements.
• Support managers on larger assignments and take ownership of smaller audits.

Required profile

• Previous experience in audit, accounts, or a mixed practice environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Positive, proactive and well‑organised approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to professional development and a long‑term career in practice.
