Audit & Accounts Semi‑Senior/Senior – Chichester

About the role

Our client, an established Chartered Accountancy firm, is looking for an Audit & Accounts Semi‑Senior/Senior to join their growing team in Chichester. You will work on a mixed portfolio of clients, balancing audit engagements with day‑to‑day accounting tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Perform audit work for a variety of client entities (approximately 60% of the role).
• Prepare and maintain client accounts, including month‑end reporting (approximately 40% of the role).
• Assist with VAT, personal tax and corporation tax compliance where required.
• Collaborate with senior partners to ensure high‑quality deliverables and client satisfaction.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of UK audit and accounts experience in practice.
• AAT Level 4 qualification or progression towards it, or working towards ACCA/ACA.
• Motivation to develop professionally with study support available.
• Office‑based role with flexibility and free parking.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Xero.
• Experience using CCH software.
• Familiarity with Sage.
• Knowledge of QuickBooks.
