Audit Manager – Accountancy Firm in Winchester

About the role

This is a hands‑on audit role with a strong emphasis on both delivery and client ownership. You will manage a varied portfolio of audit clients, taking responsibility for assignments from planning through to completion, while ensuring high technical standards and smooth delivery throughout.

Key responsibilities

• Manage audit assignments from planning through to completion
• Act as a key point of contact for a portfolio of clients
• Review audit files and ensure compliance with technical standards
• Monitor budgets, timelines, and overall assignment delivery
• Build and maintain strong long‑term client relationships
• Support, mentor, and develop junior members of the audit team
• Assist with workflow coordination across the wider team
• Work closely with senior leadership on client delivery
