About the role

Join a leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Liverpool as an Audit Manager. You will lead high‑quality audit and assurance engagements for a diverse client portfolio, while developing strong client relationships and mentoring a growing audit team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of audit assignments from planning through to completion across a varied client base.
• Review audit files and provide clear, constructive feedback to junior and semi‑senior staff.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining professional relationships.
• Support partners on complex engagements and contribute to strategic client planning.
• Lead, develop, and inspire members of the audit team.
• Identify and pursue business development opportunities.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant or equivalent audit experience.
• Strong communication and client‑management skills.
• Ability to lead and develop a team.
• Right to work in the UK without restriction.
