Audit Manager – Hybrid (Bristol)

About the role

Pro-Finance, an established accountancy firm in the South West, is seeking an Audit Manager to lead its Bristol audit team. The role offers hybrid working, a supportive culture and exposure to a diverse client portfolio ranging from fast‑growing SMEs to large industry leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of audit clients with turnovers ranging from £1m to £100m across various sectors.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser on technical and commercial matters.
• Take ownership of all aspects of service delivery, including remuneration planning and corporate group structures.
• Support clients through corporate transactions such as acquisitions, disposals and fundraising.
• Contribute to business development by managing existing relationships and targeting new audit and non‑audit opportunities.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CA qualified with post‑qualification experience.
• Up‑to‑date technical knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, ISAs and Companies Act legislation.
• Confident in business development and client engagement.
• Proactive self‑starter able to work independently and as part of a team.
