Audit Manager

About the role

Our client, a boutique accountancy practice, is expanding its audit team and is looking for an experienced Audit Manager to lead engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients. This is a senior position that offers the chance to shape the audit department while working closely with partners.

Key responsibilities

• Lead audit teams on group and international assignments.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements under IFRS and FRS 102.
• Manage and prioritize a personal portfolio of audit work to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Supervise, mentor and develop junior audit staff.
• Collaborate with the Audit Partner on technical audit matters.
• Contribute to the evolution of the audit department’s processes and methodology.

Required profile

• Qualified ACA or ACCA with at least three years post‑qualification experience.
• Minimum five years’ experience in a UK accountancy practice.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, ISAs and their application.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solutions‑focused attitude.
