Audit Manager – Not‑for‑Profit Sector

About the role

We are looking for an ambitious Audit Manager with a passion for the not‑for‑profit sector to join a top‑20 UK audit practice. You will work with a diverse portfolio of charities, NGOs, schools and housing associations, delivering high‑quality audit services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of external audit clients throughout the year.
• Lead audit teams from planning to completion, ensuring work is on budget and on schedule.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships.
• Prepare and present audit reports to senior management and audit committees.
• Coach, mentor and develop junior team members.
• Support business development and contribute to proposals for new engagements.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CA qualified with post‑qualification experience.
• Demonstrated experience in charity audits and familiarity with the Charities SORP.
• Strong people‑management and communication skills.
