Audit Manager – SME Portfolio

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing UK firm to find an ambitious Audit Manager (or Audit Supervisor) for their Letchworth office. You will lead audits for a diverse portfolio of SME clients, mentor junior staff and work closely with partners to deliver high‑quality audit services.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and finalise audits from start to finish.
• Develop and maintain trusted relationships with SME clients.
• Review work and provide guidance to junior team members.
• Collaborate with partners to ensure audit quality and compliance.
• Identify value‑adding opportunities to support client growth.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified.
• Experience in UK practice audit, preferably with SME clients.
• Strong technical audit knowledge and excellent communication skills.
• Ambitious, proactive and eager to progress in an audit career.
