Audit Manager – Technology Sector

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager with a focus on technology clients to join a fast‑growing specialist practice in the City of London. The role offers genuine influence, autonomy and exposure to a broad range of high‑growth technology businesses within a modern accountancy environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion across a varied technology client base.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong ongoing relationships.
• Review audit files and fieldwork, providing clear feedback and quality‑assurance oversight.
• Manage multiple assignments simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
• Support advisory input on technology‑focused projects, including growth planning and performance insights.
• Supervise and mentor a small team while collaborating with specialist colleagues.
• Deliver coaching and support to trainees and junior staff.
• Contribute to improving internal processes and audit efficiency.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
• Proven experience operating at Audit Manager level within a professional practice.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK auditing and accounting standards.
• Experience managing multiple audits and competing deadlines.
• Excellent communication and client‑relationship skills.
• Interest or exposure to the technology sector.
• Leadership capability with a supportive, motivating approach.
