Audit Semi Senior – Chartered Accountants

About the role

We are seeking an Audit Semi Senior to join a leading Top 15 chartered accountancy practice in Maidstone. You will support audits from planning through to completion, working closely with senior colleagues while developing your technical and client‑facing skills.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with audit assignments from planning through to completion.
• Conduct fieldwork on‑site and remotely for a varied client portfolio.
• Prepare sections of statutory accounts in line with UK GAAP / FRS102.
• Liaise with clients to obtain information and resolve queries.
• Identify basic risk areas and escalate where appropriate.
• Support and work alongside junior team members.
• Ensure work is completed to a high standard and within deadlines.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA part‑qualified (or studying towards qualification).
• Previous experience in external audit within an accountancy practice.
• Good understanding of auditing and accounting standards.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Confident communicator with a professional approach to clients.
• Motivated to progress a career within a Top 15 firm.
