Audit Senior – Accountancy & Business Advisory

About the role

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Audit Senior to join a leading accountancy and business advisory practice. You will work with a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple sectors, delivering high‑quality audit and accounting services while developing your client‑management and leadership capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and complete audit fieldwork, including substantive and analytical testing, both on‑site and remotely.
• Plan, execute and finalise audit assignments to a high standard.
• Prepare statutory financial statements from client records.
• Identify key risk areas and communicate findings to managers and partners.
• Ensure audit files contain appropriate and sufficient documentation.
• Coach and mentor junior team members.
• Build and maintain strong, long‑term client relationships.
• Contribute to team revenue and profitability targets.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and/or IFRS.
• Experience managing audits for a varied client portfolio.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound professional judgement.
• Experience supervising, coaching or mentoring junior staff.
