Audit Senior Associate

About the role

Join a leading chartered accountancy firm in Sussex as an Audit Senior Associate. You will work with a diverse client base across the South‑East, delivering audit, accountancy and tax services while developing your professional career.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and review audit engagements for owner‑managed and listed businesses.
• Prepare financial statements, tax computations and related documentation.
• Supervise and delegate work to junior team members, ensuring quality and deadlines are met.
• Maintain regular communication with clients and provide timely updates on audit progress.
• Identify areas for improvement and contribute to the development of audit methodologies.

Required profile

• ACA/ACCA qualified or part‑qualified with solid audit experience in a practice environment.
• Experience gained in a Top Tier, Mid Tier, Top 50 or large independent accountancy practice.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities, with a proven track record of supervising staff.
• Motivation to progress within a reputable firm of chartered accountants.
