Audit Senior – Hybrid, £40k‑£50k

About the role

We are seeking an Audit Senior to join a respected accountancy and advisory firm in Ashford. The role offers a blend of technical challenge, client exposure and clear career progression within a supportive, hybrid‑working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver audit assignments for a diverse client portfolio.
• Lead audit fieldwork, perform substantive testing and prepare statutory financial statements.
• Identify audit risks, key issues and ensure high‑quality audit files.
• Mentor and support junior team members throughout engagements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, working closely with managers and partners.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification.
• Audit experience gained within an accountancy practice.
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP; experience with IFRS is a plus.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Previous experience coaching or supporting junior colleagues.
