Audit Senior

About the role

We are partnering with a leading accounting and business advisory firm in North London to recruit an Audit Senior. You will manage audit engagements from planning through to completion, liaising directly with clients and supporting the development of junior colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Lead audit assignments, ensuring all phases are executed to high quality standards.
• Prepare audit plans, risk assessments and detailed work programmes.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to clients and senior management.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff, reviewing their work and providing guidance.
• Maintain compliance with UK GAAP and FRS 102 throughout the audit process.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) with a minimum of 2 years audit experience.
• Proven experience delivering audits for UK clients from start to finish.
• Strong understanding of UK GAAP and FRS 102.
• Collaborative mindset, comfortable working in a team‑oriented environment.
