Audit Senior

About the role

We are partnering with a progressive accountancy firm in Liverpool that is looking for an Audit Senior to take ownership of audit engagements and deepen client relationships. This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA/ACCA qualified professional seeking greater responsibility and a clear path to advancement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead audit assignments from planning through to final reporting, managing budgets, timelines and fieldwork.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser.
• Review work and mentor junior team members, supporting their development.
• Prepare statutory accounts for limited companies.
• Ensure assignments are delivered efficiently, accurately and to a high technical standard.

Required profile

• ACA/ACCA qualified (or near qualification).
• Minimum of 3 years' experience within an accountancy practice.
• Solid understanding of UK audit and accounting standards.
• Confident in leading audits and managing client relationships.
• Full UK driving licence.
