Audit Senior – Join Our Audit Team

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Audit Senior to support the delivery of audit engagements across our department. You will ensure audit work meets required standards, is completed on time and stays within budget while maintaining strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Implement allocated client audit work and manage team workflow.
• Arrange and lead audit planning meetings.
• Prepare or delegate key audit tasks in line with budget and performance standards.
• Monitor progress, communicate updates to clients and internal stakeholders, and resolve complex issues.
• Prepare completion sections, including Going Concern and Key Audit Findings reports.
• Review audit assistants’ work and ensure clearance points are met.
• Assist colleagues across the service line and contribute to billing preparation.
• Act as primary contact for outsourced team members and maintain client relationships throughout the year.
• Ensure compliance with AML, KYC, engagement letters and other hygiene factors.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified.
• Proven experience in audit delivery and team supervision.
• Strong communication skills with clients, regulators (e.g., HMRC) and internal teams.
