Audit Senior – Lewes

About the role

TC Group is seeking an Audit Senior to join its fast‑growing Lewes office. You will work on a varied portfolio of owner‑managed corporates, charities and not‑for‑profit clients, building strong relationships with business owners across the South East.

Key responsibilities

• Take the lead on the audit process from planning through to completion.
• Undertake non‑audit assignments such as accounts preparation and tax computations.
• Prepare realistic budgets and liaise with managers on any issues.
• Maintain client relationships, communicate progress and ensure deadlines are met.
• Support the development of trainees and share best practices within the team.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified.
• 2–3 years’ audit experience in practice, preferably with owner‑managed corporates, charities or not‑for‑profit organisations.
• Strong understanding of audit and accounting standards.
• Ability to travel to client sites using own transport.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Sage and Xero accounting software.
• Experience using CCH and Caseware.
• Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP, SUMIF and Pivot Tables.
