Audit Senior – London

About the role

We are seeking an Audit Senior to join a top‑30, fast‑growing accountancy and advisory firm in London. You will lead audit engagements for a diverse client portfolio, ensuring high‑quality delivery and compliance with UK GAAP and IFRS.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and lead audit assignments from planning through to completion.
• Conduct risk assessments and allocate resources effectively.
• Prepare and review financial statements in line with UK GAAP and IFRS.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients, handling technical and commercial queries.
• Deliver engagements on time and within budget while identifying process improvement opportunities.
• Stay up‑to‑date with changes in auditing standards and regulations.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified, or part‑qualified.
• Minimum 2 years of external audit experience in a UK accountancy practice.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Proven ability to juggle multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines.
