Audit Senior – Part or Fully Qualified

About the role

AJ Chambers is seeking an Audit Senior to join its growing practice near Sutton, Surrey. The role is ideal for candidates with a strong audit background who can lead engagements and mentor junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution and completion of audit assignments for a diverse client base.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building relationships and resolving queries.
• Prepare and review audit files, including accounts and corporation tax computations prepared by junior team members.
• Present audit findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Support and mentor junior staff throughout the audit process.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA fully qualified, or part‑qualified.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in an audit‑focused role within an accountancy practice.
• Proven experience leading audits from planning through to completion.
• Familiarity with CCH, Xero or QuickBooks is advantageous.
