About the role

Our client, a well‑established accountancy practice in Hertfordshire, is seeking an ambitious Audit Senior / Semi Senior. This full‑time hybrid position offers exposure to a varied client portfolio and clear pathways for career progression.

Key responsibilities

• Manage audit assignments from planning through completion with minimal supervision.
• Lead fieldwork, ensuring audits are performed efficiently and to a high standard.
• Prepare and review audit documentation and financial statements.
• Build strong client relationships and act as a primary point of contact.
• Identify audit findings and report them to managers and partners.
• Support and mentor junior team members where appropriate.

Required profile

• Experience working within a UK accountancy practice.
• Confidence in managing audit files from start to finish.
• Strong technical knowledge and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• ACA/ACCA qualified, part‑qualified, or qualified by experience.
