Audit Senior – Up to £50,000 + Excellent Benefits

About the role

Pro-Finance is seeking an Audit Senior to join its award‑nominated Milton Keynes audit team. You will own audit engagements, mentor junior staff and work with a diverse portfolio of complex clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion.
• Supervise and review the work of junior team members.
• Act as the primary day‑to‑day contact for clients during fieldwork.
• Prepare and review statutory and consolidated accounts under FRS 102.
• Draft management‑letter points and technical recommendations.
• Prepare group reporting packs for component audit work.
• Manage deadlines and budgets with minimal manager intervention.

Required profile

• Strong audit experience in a medium or large practice environment.
• ACA or ACCA qualification (or close to qualification).
• Confidence supervising juniors and reviewing work.
• Ability to handle complex audits and imperfect records.
• Clear communication skills with clients and colleagues.
• Organised, capable and comfortable taking responsibility.
