Automation Engineer – UiPath (Leeds)

About the role

ASDA is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer with a strong background in UiPath to join the team at Asda House in Leeds. You will be responsible for building, monitoring, and maintaining UiPath automation solutions that support the business across a hybrid working model.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot production incidents and implement fixes or enhancements.
• Monitor and manage unattended bots, producing support and performance reports.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to minimise disruption and optimise process performance.
• Update existing automations to reflect application or process changes.
• Support proof‑of‑concept work on new tools and technologies.
• Work with third‑party vendors and internal squads to embed best practices into the SDLC.

Required profile

• Proven experience in UiPath development or support within an intelligent automation environment.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Azure databases, and Microsoft SQL.
• Experience using ServiceNow for change and incident management.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in an Agile delivery model and engage with stakeholders effectively.
