Automation & Software Developer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Automation & Software Developer to join the technical team supporting the fast‑growing retail brands Batch'd and Vyve. Working directly with the Technical Director, you will design, build and maintain the software that powers stores, websites and internal operations, gaining exposure to modern cloud platforms, AI‑driven workflows and e‑commerce systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrations between Shopify, EposNow, Deliverect, Connecteam and other business systems.
• Create cloud‑based applications, serverless functions and automation workflows.
• Build internal tools, dashboards and portals for operational teams.
• Implement AI‑powered workflows using tools such as Claude Code and Codex CLI.
• Develop customer‑facing e‑commerce features and web applications.
• Produce reporting and business‑intelligence solutions from multiple data sources.
• Research and adopt new technologies that improve business performance.
• Document solutions and contribute to reusable technical knowledge.

Required profile

• Strong logical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Experience delivering practical solutions with modern development tools.
