Automotive Apprentice – Vehicle Technician

About the role

Join Halfords Autocentre in Worthing as an apprentice vehicle technician. You will work alongside experienced mechanics, gaining hands‑on experience across a wide range of makes and models.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing, inspections and basic repairs.
• Assist with complex tasks such as engine rebuilds and advanced diagnostics.
• Replace components and troubleshoot faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Support the workshop in meeting commercial targets and maintaining high customer standards.

Required profile

• Adaptable, flexible and eager to solve new problems daily.
• Customer‑focused with strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn from college lecturers, mentors and colleagues.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
