Automotive Sales Consultant

About the role

We are seeking an Automotive Sales Consultant to join a leading dealership in Cirencester. The role involves guiding customers through the car buying journey, delivering exceptional service, and meeting sales targets in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers and assess their vehicle needs.
• Present new and used cars, explaining features, specifications, pricing and financing options.
• Conduct test drives and provide comprehensive product demonstrations.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of prospects through follow‑ups and networking.
• Collaborate with finance, service and management teams to ensure smooth transactions.
• Prepare sales paperwork, financing applications and vehicle registrations.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in retail or automotive sales.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent interpersonal and active‑listening skills.
• High emotional intelligence and a charismatic, customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
• Valid manual driving licence with no more than six penalty points.
