Automotive Technician / Mechanic – HGV – Workshop Based – Edinburgh

About the role

Enterprise Mobility is seeking a motivated HGV Automotive Technician to join its Flex‑E‑Rent workshop in Edinburgh. You will work primarily in a workshop environment, with occasional mobile breakdown duties, maintaining a diverse fleet of heavy goods and specialist vehicles.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain and repair a wide range of HGVs and specialist vehicles.
• Work on top brands such as Mercedes, Iveco and Ford.
• Ensure all vehicles meet safety and quality standards and are ready for MOT.
• Prepare vehicles for MOT testing.
• Attend breakdown calls when required, providing mobile support.
• Collaborate with a skilled, friendly team to deliver high‑quality service.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent qualification.
• Experience working with HGVs or LCVs.
• Full UK/Ireland/EU Class C or CE (formerly Class 1 or 2) manual driving licence.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented approach with a passion for vehicle maintenance.
