AV Installation Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an AV Installation Engineer to join a growing company based in Wokingham, Berkshire. The successful candidate will adopt a flexible, can‑do attitude, deliver outstanding client‑facing service and travel regularly across the local and London area.

Key responsibilities

• Support the sales team by providing functional AV solutions and ensuring equipment is complete.
• Liaise with customers to capture their requirements and deliver onsite support during events.
• Prepare and install a wide range of AV equipment, from single items to large‑scale event rollouts.
• Collaborate with internal engineering departments to resolve technical issues.

Required profile

• Adaptable, flexible and willing to travel, with a full clean driving licence.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Team‑player who enjoys learning new equipment and sharing knowledge.

Required skills

• Wall‑mounting large‑format screens using handheld power tools.
• Installation of free‑standing screens and video walls.
• Setup and support of small PA systems.
• Configuration of video‑conferencing setups, including screens and cameras.
• IT skills to install, run and control video content.
