AV Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead permanent audio‑visual, lighting and technical installation projects for iconic venues across the UK. You will oversee the full lifecycle from client briefing through design, installation, compliance and hand‑over, ensuring safety, quality and on‑time delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Support Business Development Managers with site visits, technical scoping and costing.
• Plan, schedule and execute permanent AV and lighting installation projects.
• Manage timelines, resources, on‑site staff and subcontractors.
• Produce RAMS and HSEQ documentation and ensure health‑and‑safety compliance.
• Host progress meetings, client check‑ins and produce project documentation.
• Track financial performance, budgets and post‑installation reviews.
• Maintain strong client relationships to generate repeat business.

Required profile

• Background in non‑IT permanent installations, preferably AV in theatre, arts or education sectors.
• Proven experience managing technical projects from inception to completion.
• Industry experience in entertainment technology, AV, events, construction or building.

• Salary £45,000 – £52,000 DOE plus commission and profit‑related bonuses.
