Avaloq Developer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Avaloq Developer to join our banking technology team in the United Kingdom. The role involves designing, developing, and delivering customized Avaloq solutions that meet client requirements and support our core banking platform.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse client requirements and design technical solutions for new or extended Avaloq functionalities.
• Create and manage technical designs, estimate effort, and oversee development, testing and implementation.
• Develop and release software components in the development environment, through System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing.
• Identify, correct and track defects during and after SIT/UAT until closure.
• Provide status and tracking reports and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Perform impact analysis and coordinate with cross‑functional teams as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Technology or a related field.
• At least 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience with Avaloq systems and Avaloq scripting.
• Certified expertise in the Avaloq Core Platform and familiarity with ACP workflow objects.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a solution‑architect mindset.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
