AWS Data Platform Architect

About the role

We are seeking an experienced AWS Data Platform Architect to join a leading technology consultancy’s Data & AI practice. You will work on large‑scale transformation programmes for enterprise and regulated‑sector clients, shaping modern cloud data platforms and AI‑driven solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver end‑to‑end AWS data platforms, including data lakes, warehouses and analytics solutions.
• Build modern data lakes and warehouses using services such as Redshift, Databricks or Snowflake.
• Implement machine learning and generative AI capabilities within the data platform.
• Define cloud architecture roadmaps and guide technical strategy.
• Work across batch and real‑time data processing environments.
• Drive data governance, security and best‑practice adoption.
• Lead and mentor technical delivery teams.
• Engage with senior stakeholders and business leaders.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Data Platform Architect, Data Architect or Cloud Architect.
• Strong expertise in AWS data services and modern data technologies.
• Experience delivering enterprise‑scale cloud solutions in regulated environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
