AWS DevOps Engineer (Hybrid, Cheshire)

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing business undergoing a major transformation after several acquisitions. The company is investing heavily in a new core AWS platform and needs an AWS DevOps Engineer to lead the build and continuous development of this environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or equivalent tools.
• Develop and manage infrastructure on AWS services such as EC2, EKS, RDS, CloudWatch and CodePipeline.
• Containerise applications with Docker and orchestrate them on Kubernetes/EKS.
• Implement monitoring and observability solutions using Prometheus, Grafana or similar.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform or AWS CDK.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve tooling, processes and platform direction.

Required profile

• Strong background in DevOps and cloud engineering, preferably with several years of hands‑on experience.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment and influencing technical decisions.
