Azure DevOps Engineer – 6-month contract, £575/day

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to join a high‑profile digital transformation programme. The role involves designing, implementing and supporting cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines within a secure, regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, Bicep or ARM templates.
• Automate deployment and operational processes.
• Support security, governance and best‑practice standards across cloud environments.
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture and delivery teams to ensure successful outcomes.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Azure cloud services.
• Proven expertise in Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline creation.
• Hands‑on experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, Bicep or ARM templates.
• Scripting/automation skills in PowerShell, Bash or Python.
• Background working in secure or highly regulated environments.
• Active Enhanced Security Clearance (eSC) is essential.

What we offer

• Rate of £575 per day (Inside IR35).
• Initial 6‑month contract with possibility of extension.
